Sameer Hinduja, Ph.D. and Justin W. Patchin, Ph.D. of the Cyberbullying Research Center have compiled a 12-page report on U.S. state cyberbullying laws and policies. Of note is that currently only six states – Colorado, Hawaii, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota – don’t have cyberbullying laws in existence.
This report is an excellent resource. In addition to providing the names of each respective law and links to where they can be located online, it also includes information on whether criminal and school sanctions for violation exist.
