The organization routinely files amicus briefs in federal courts, pursues open government cases, defends consumer privacy, organizes conferences for NGOs, and speaks before Congress and judicial organizations about emerging privacy and civil liberties issues.

Future of Privacy Forum is a nonprofit organization that serves as a catalyst for privacy leadership and scholarship, advancing principled data practices in support of emerging technologies. It brings together industry, academics, consumer advocates, and other thought leaders to explore the challenges posed by technological innovation and develop privacy protections, ethical norms, and workable business practices.
Privacy International
Privacy International is a charity that focuses on promoting the human right of privacy throughout the world. It doesn’t accept any industry funding and has a strict policy for accepting grants in order to maintain its ability to criticize state actors and others who abuse people’s privacy and freedom.

Privacy Rights Clearinghouse is a nonprofit organization focused on protecting individuals’ privacy. Its online services include a Complaint Center where consumers can report privacy violations and poor privacy practices and an extensive collection of consumer guides on privacy issues, among other things.
