Hey, I Was Just Kidding When I Said “Kill the Judge,” Really!

The death of teenager Trayvon Martin continues to draw the attention of the American public, and anger soared upon the release of accused shooter George Zimmerman, who left county jail on Sunday after posting bail.

Twitter showed no shortage of people expressing a desire to kill Zimmerman, and Zimmerman’s attorney said his client would likely remain in hiding until he testifies at his own trial next year, given the death threats he has received.

Anger was also aimed at the judge who is overseeing the case, Kenneth Lester Jr. Someone using the name @Rick_Cobain on Twitter wrote:

Sadly, some of the criticism against him became personal, compounding the aggressiveness.
