We humans are fascinating creatures, with brains that imbue us with the ability to think rationally and feel emotions. Yet most people don’t have any knowledge of brain anatomy or how the brain works – in other words, why we do what we do.

The Society for Neuroscience’s Brain Awareness Video Contest features 45 short brain videos that both entertain and teach.

One catchy video, Brain, Brain, is a 3:14 minute rap featuring the basics (via Daniel Lende on PLoS Blogs).
