    I actually wrote a post about this on my blog. A close friend was killed in a car accident recently, and when I read the comments left on the news article, I was shocked.

    Thanks for sharing your experience about learning of the death of your friend. I too have read comments like the ones you describe and feel both angry and sad about the disrespect, callousness and hatred for others they express. There is no excuse for this type of behavior.
