After Your Relationship’s Ended, Make Sure Your Ex Hasn’t Become Vindictive Online

May 1, 2012 by CiviliNation

You thought your relationship would last forever… but it didn’t.

If you were the one who ended the relationship, hopefully you did so with respect, dignity and compassion. But whether you were the person who decided to leave or the one who was left, it’s a highly emotional time, with feelings of hurt, sadness, loneliness, confusion, regret and anger mingled together into a messy mix.

Unfortunately, some people decide to lash out at their exes in crazy and vengeful ways. Making the news this week is the story of a dentist who pulled out all of her former boyfriend’s teeth after they broke up (not surprisingly, she now faces jail time).

The Internet is littered with numerous examples of adults with out-of-control anger going ballistic online, often publicly for maximum effect. Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are favorite outlets, as are personal blogs and YouTube.

But a handful of specialty sites serving as outlets for the enraged have cropped up as well.  Therefore, to help safeguard your reputation, check out these site to see if you’ve been unfairly blacklisted on them:

  • Get Revenge On Your Ex
  • LiarsCheatersRUs.com
  • Don’tDateHimGirl.com
